From NYS Thruway West: NYS Thruway Exit 29 - Canajoharie - State Hwy 10. Take State Hwy 10 North to State Hwy 29 (13 Miles). Turn Right Turn (East) onto State Hwy 29/10. Follow State Hwy 29/10 100 Yards. Turn Left into Royal Mountain Campsite. From NYS Thruway East: NYS Thruway Exit 28 - Fonda-Fultonville - State Hwy 30A. Take State Hwy 30A North to Johnstown NY. Take Left Hand Turn (West) on State Hwy 29 West. Follow State Hwy 29 (9 Miles). Turn Right into Royal Mountain Campsite.
Very relaxing atmosphere. Quiet super quiet but I raised some chaos an my neighbors were chill. I felt comfortable for a camp ground. I rented the 34 foot camper! The only thing wrong was the sleeping set up, the queen was the best bed I ever laid on in forever. However the side beds an quest beds was so uncomfortable. But it was super CLEAN! would do it again.
We stopped here last minute. They were helpful on the phone and got us a pull through site. The owner stayed late to help us get parkee in the rain. Looks like a great little campground
We have stayed here plenty of times. We have stayed in both cabins now. I really like the glamping cabin. It's decorated so country and homey. The owners are excellent and will accommodate anything you need. We will be staying here for years to come
We just love Royal Mountain campground. This is our third year coming up from Texas to spend a month camping here. The owners Sara and Todd are the nicest people that you could ever meet. You always see them out working hard everyday to ensure their campgrounds are kept in top condition. We feel right at home parking our RV here.
