Traveling West On The NYS Thruway (I-90): Get off at Exit 29 (Canajoharie/St. Johnsville), turn right off ramp. Go ¼ mile to first traffic light (Rt. 10), turn right and cross Palatine Bridge. Take left at next light (Rt. 5) and continue approximately 8 miles through Nelliston to St. Johnsville, NY. Turn right at the traffic light by Stewart's Shops (Division St.), bear right at fork (approx. 1 mile above light), and continue to campground (approx. 4 miles).
I have been to the Full Moon Womens retreat 3 years in a row! I have also gone day mining. This place is magical. BillieJo and ensemble make the retreat more epic every year, totally going above and beyond. I have made new lifetime friends and discovered things about myself that are truly amazing. I cannot wait to come dig in the dirt and welcome another full moon in this epic space!
Fun family campground. Mining was close to camp and provided hours of fun. Lots of Herkimers and new friends.
I so love my Diamond Mines. After so much loss in NY state I found my place. this year will be my 3rd year been making it annual and I'm hooked I try and bring 1 extra friend every year the new gift shop is Absolutely awesome going to take home something every time we check out. Thank you, Crystal Grove Diamond mines. From an appreciative customer. Quiet comfortable and affordable for me and my some circle. May stay longer next reservation. Cabins are so clean too. Must see. ❤️
Attended the woman’s retreat and amazing landscape. Owner puts her love and heart in the campground and it shows my first mining experience. Absolutely loved it Found some great pieces from my collection.
Great location for Herkimer Diamonds! Very reasonable pricing for mining. Camping is also available, cabins, and camp sites. Bathrooms with showers that are well maintained. Tools can be rented or you can bring your own. Maps available for mining. Owners and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming.
