From I 81 North, take exit 40 to NY 193. Follow NY 193 W to Southwicks Place into Park.
The facility is continuously the best maintained and cared for. The newer additions to the beach area and the additional camping loop added are very well done. The staff is always helpful and friendly, and the beach is clean and combed often. The sunsets are always spectacular and always a highlight of our camping trip.
The facility is continuously the best maintained and cared for. The newer additions to the beach area and the additional camping loop added are very well done. The staff is always helpful and friendly, and the beach is clean and combed often. The sunsets are always spectacular and always a highlight of our camping trip. My only complaint is about our inconsiderate camping neighbors. There were 4 separate families all near each other and every one had a noisy jobsite generator. The generator hours are 9a-11a and 5p-9p and they all felt the need to use every minuite. Some people go camping to actually get into nature and peace and quiet.
A beautiful beach! We stayed in the new F loop and there was no shade in September. But lots of space between sites and great beach hiking.
Great camping experience. Most amenities have had major upgrades here. Excellent beach. New, clean showers and rest rooms. We'll maintained park. Don't speed, park police are always monitoring.
