My favorite local park. Always very clean, with lots of places to sit right by the water. Oneida Lake is also very beautiful. Highly recommend a stop here, you can easily spend the whole day walking around or just hanging out.
Well cared for beach park with lots of shade. The beach is decent sized and has great sand and a fun shallow swimming area with lifeguards. The ice cream stand/camp store had good ice cream and a few delicious food and drink options.
I love this place. It's very clean, nice, and very beautiful. There are plenty of picnic tables and bathroom locations. If you don't feel like having a barbecue? You can order food at the concession stand and ice cream, too.
The beach is not very big, but it's not too small at the same time. You have to go out pretty far out in the water to get up to your neck. The water is clear and slightly wavy water. They even have a playground for kids..
This is the place to go with small children or even adults. The beach is not deep at all. The sand is soft and not rocky. When walking barefoot, you won't hurt your feet. There are multiple playgrounds for kids to enjoy. Also, there are many paths with even pavement to ride scooters, rolerscates, or bikes along the water.
What a great little beach. We were visiting from New Orleans and the weather was great and the water was cool. Bathrooms were clean, all the faucets/showers worked to get cleaned off, the splash pad was great fun, and we enjoyed ice cream from the little concession stand.
