It's a chill Place taking some fresh air and black some freaking sunlight Shining in
Lake Durant has some primitive campsites along the shore. While there you can enjoy some wonderful sunsets over the lake.
Our first trip here was wonderful. We will be back again. The lake was great for padding and fishing. The only complaint I have was our site was not truly water front, but that was our booking choice. I would highly recommend it if you enjoy lake camping in the ADK.
Quiet lake, great for canoeing and kayaking. Has a control dam at one end and is creek fed at the other. Nice viewing area about half way along the road. The state campground is great as well, one of our favorite places.
