Family Friendly Campground in the Beautiful Adirondack Mountains

Secluded, wooded campsites in a serene mountain setting, yet just a 3 minute drive from beautiful Lake George, and Lake George Village, as well as many area attractions.

Adirondack Camping Village offers campers an opportunity to enjoy the great outdoorswhile having some of the comforts of home. Our rustic mountain setting provides ample privacy to relax and enjoy life. Whether its swimming in our heated pools, watching the nightly movie, or roasting marshmallows around the campfire, Adirondack Camping Village has something to offer everyone. Kids will especially enjoy our playground, game-room and our daily hay-rides. Pets on a leash are welcome.

We offer a variety of hook-ups to accommodate all types of campers: For the campers who want it all in their 40 ft RV’s we have 50-amp water, electric, sewer, cable pull-through campsites. For the families or couples who want to “rough it” in tents we offer no hook-up sites. We also have everything in between to accommodate pop-ups, truck campers, and any size pull-behind trailer (water, electric, sewer or cable) and even tenters who want some amenities (water and electric).

We had such a great experience at this campsite. Would 100% return and recommend. We had a little snag at check in but Mary handled it like a rockstar and we didn't miss a thing. The pool looked gorgeous even though we didn't get to use it ..but the setting was beautiful. The sight was perfect. Immaculately kept. Bathrooms and showers were clean and the water was hot. Great location in relation to the village .

Upon arrival, the store is very small and not well stocked. The pool area, basketball court, "volleyball court" are in what apears to be disrepair. There is simply no landscaping, weeds everywhere and look like the area has not been maintained in quite some time. The bathrooms were disgusting.

What is not mentioned about this campground is it is on a hill. The entire place. When we arrived, we could not get our camper into the pull through site we picked online because of the grade of the hill. If this was mentioned, it may make or break people making reservations here. The front desk was very accommodating and allowed us to change our site.

If we had kids with us, they would have been miserable as there are no activities for them and the road is stone and all hills. They wouldn't have been able to ride a bike.

We had to pay 13.00 for 3 days of internet, to which we had to call a call center and arrange. There is no cable.

For the most part, the park is clean and is in a good location if you are looking to head to Lake George for the day, perhaps Bolton Landing or are looking for a very quiet place to stay.

We may return, but as a stop off as opposed to a campground where we would meet other people and go to events hosted by a campground.

This was our first time staying at the campground and we had a great time. Our lot was large, secluded and shady. The kids loved the pool area. The staff in the office were very nice. The campground was close to Lake George village which was convenient. Bathrooms were clean. No complaints at all and we will definitely be staying here again. I see some very recent poor reviews. Don’t let those steer you away from this campground. We had site 57 and loved it! Any spots in that area of the campground all looked nice! :)

It was our first time camping here and we absolutely loved the atmosphere of the campground. Very well kept sites and you have a lot of space which is especially great when you have a dog! Very quiet and peaceful. The only hang ups that I had were the bathrooms/ showers. If clean and updated bathrooms/showers are important to you, then these may not be it. The bathrooms are fairly updated, nice sink area, pretty large and nice tile throughout. The stalls are a bit tiny- but that’s not the main problem. Unfortunately the bathrooms closest to our campsite were located in a spot where there were a lot of tenting sites and cabins. The bathrooms were pretty gross on the first day, and second not as bad. The toilets itself were clean but there was toilet paper all over the floors and just not well kept, which may not be the campgrounds fault- but unfortunately still pretty unpleasant. However, the showers are completely unacceptable. They are very old and the shower curtains look like they haven’t been cleaned/ updater in years. We did find black mold in one of the showers on the shower curtain and the floor. A total turn off- we did shower in our camper, there was no way I would set foot in one of those shower stalls. The only recommendations I’d have for the campground would be to update the showers for sure, and maybe clean the bathrooms twice a day instead of one when it is busy, and maybe just update some of the main area with the basketball courts and playground are. Overall a wonderful stay, and we will be back!

We booked a seasonal site and loved it so much we are coming back next year! Thanks to Mike, Mary, Tonya and the great ladies in the office for all their work and great local recommendations. Sites are spacious, well maintained and plenty of beautiful shady trees. This is by far the best campsite in the area, you feel like you are actually camping and not stuck in a parking lot. Great location close to town as well!! 10/10 recommend!
