It’s a great campground. We’ve been there a few times now. We go up there in the fall to see the Balloon Festival. The staff is very helpful. The location is centrally located. We are close to stores, attractions, restaurants, etc. we give it five stars.
Nice place But the pine pitch got all over my vehicles my RV did not appreciate that too much. When I made reservations I was never told that my RV would be under Pines. The pitch with all over my RV and my Jeep not a good thing. Besides that a nice place and the guys that take care of the grounds are super duper people very polite nice to talk to.
Staff here greeted us at the entrance and directed us to check in lane with our tow vehicle and trailer. Staff directed us to office where we completed check in. A staff member then escorted us to our site in golf cart. Our site was next to seasonals in C area of campground. Seasonal campers stayed to themselves like they were on island. Didn't interact with weekend warriors such as ourselves. Overall we enjoyed. Just ok.
This place is one of the nicest places I've been to and I've been to well over 25 rv parks across the country these past 3 years. The sites are clean level and private! The entire place is spotless! I especially like how sites were different levels making them private. There's lots to do there and around there. Music, movies, DJ, bike paths, amusement park, walking distance to miniature golf shops and dining, etc. We loved it!!
Nice campground. We came here with an RV. Close to Lake George and many attractions and restaurants. We wanted a more secluded RV site and it was too bad that we were not able to pick a spot. The spot that we were assigned was a wooded area so that made it a bit better however I would love more privacy and further away from other campers. The swimming pool was small but clean. Staff were mostly friendly and the bathrooms were clean. Overall I think this is a good spot to come if you're in Lake George. But I probably won't return since I crave for more solitude when I get away.
