We went last weekend for dinosaur weekend and it was a lot of fun. It has been our favorite camping spot so far this year. There are lots of things for the kids to do, including a pool, large jump pad, a couple of playgrounds, a volleyball, and a basketball court. Each weekend has a different theme, so there's other themed activities to do during the stay as well.
One of the best parts was tenting right next to the water. We went out on the rocks multiple times and just walked. We brought our 6 year old so he had a bucket, and we collected small fish and snails. The dogs loved it as well.
Very clean campground, bathroom, and shower area were the cleanest I have ever seen a campground.
The owners made themselves known and were SO friendly.
We will definitely be going back!
Outstanding!!!!! This place is wonderful in every way. When I called to place reservation They took their time .Listen to what I'd like and gave us a site that was perfect for us. This was my first tenting trip in many years. I was going to set our site up and my grandson (5) was coming up later. I had asked when making my reservation if someone could possibly help me set it up. With no hesitation "Sure we can help." Special thank you to Bob the owner for helping me. Found that my air mattress had a hole. After several different attempts to patch ,it was apparent nothing would fix it. It was getting late and grandson was tired. Instead of running and getting a new one. I called office. They were kind enough to place us in a cabin for the night. Thank you so much!!!! After finally getting our site settled then the real fun began. They have thought of everything. So much fun to be had. Scheduled activities all day. The staff that runs the activities are great!!! The sites are covered in lush green grass ,shaded, gental breezes and the soothing sound of the stream in the background .I will definitely be back. Highly recommend
Overall, this is a great place for kids/families. There's a pool, a large trampoline, mini-golf, 2 small parks, water balloon fights and a river with small rapids to play in. The park also puts on activities at various points during the day. There's plenty here to keep kids busy.
The staff are really good. The owner is really nice. The store is well stocked and has reasonable prices.
I've been here twice and would gladly come back.
The only thing to keep in mind for those from Canada, the wifi is very, very limited. At times it doesn't work at all. Not a big deal for most, but just in case it matters, I thought I would mention it.
Nice place, but they really need to enforce the quiet time. Our first night here the cabin across from us were up yelling, screaming, and had their music blasting until 2am. Tonight it’s 11 and they are doing the same thing. I know people want to have a good time, but this is crazy!!
I just completed my 10th annual salmon trip staying here. The campground and experience has gotten better every year since the current owners started operating it. The whole place is clean and well kept. Bob, Marion and their staff are friendly and personable to everyone yet they have a unique ability to make you feel like their most special customer. They are very respectful. In return, most campers reciprocate that respect which results in a pleasurable time for everyone. This spot is great for families, just the guys/gals, or a private stay for anyone of any age.
