The park is located off Route 12, 6 miles east of Alexandria Bay.
My family has camped at Kring Point for 4 generations. The sites are generally large and most offer some shade. The restrooms have been updated in the past few years and there is now a laundry room so you don't have to drive to A Bay. If you're looking for a place to take your kids, this is it! Unbeatable 💚
Kring Park was a beautiful place to camp. We had a river front site for our popup camper for like $26 a night. It was quiet and picturesque, and dark! The night sky and star gazing was amazing. Down side: few sites had electric and I don't think any had water; also, no camp store. Bathroom and showers were adequate, but you had to keep pushing a button to keep the shower flowing; I guess that's how they conserve water. We enjoyed our site for 2 nights, but I admit I was happy to move on to full hook-ups.
This is our new favorite campground. Our water site was perfect. Our kids were safe to scoot and ride bikes and met so many friends. The general store is an added plus plus plus! I don't want to say more than this, as to not give too many good things away!
What a great park to camp during the Summer! You can find your family’s perfect site and enjoy the view of the river and the beauty of Canada across the water. Plan your stay in the thousand islands at Kring Point.
