Beautiful campground, friendly, helpful staff. Not far from Lake George and the outlets. I just wish they stayed open until the end of October. The Village of Lake George decorates for fall and Halloween.....it would have been great to stay until the end of October.
Had a great three night stay at this Campground. It was very nice to not be woken up by dogs barking. The downside was all the pine needles and pine sap. Make sure to cover things you don't want covered in sap. Have already reserved this site for next year!
Very clean and well kept RV park. We were there for the balloon festival about 10 minutes away, so a very convenient location. My only complaint on that front is the road noise. We had site 150 and got to listen to trucks downshift on the nearby road all night long. Seasonal sites, of which there were plenty, were neat and did not detract from the aesthetic. There were only two bath houses (plus a couple of toilets near the pool), which seemed to be quite busy. They were very clean and a short walk on the paved roads from anywhere in the park. In short, I would recommend Ledgeview for someone willing to pay a little extra for wide roads, clean facilities, and amenities like a pool and shuffle board courts. A final word of warning - they require a $20 (cash only) deposit for a key card that isn't mentioned in the reservation process.
