Directions

From NYS Thruway (I-90), Exit 27 at Amsterdam and follow Route 30 north approximately 40 miles. Sacandaga Public Campground is located on the left side of the road.

Just go to SAC in Hadley, right on the other side of bridge. Rent a tube, get a ride up to the dam (Stewart's Bridge) on the bus, and have a couple hours or so of really wet fun!

We used to go to Wells, NY every spring to watch the white water race on the Sacandaga River.
