From NYS Thruway (I-90): Take Exit 29A to RT 5 - RT 167 to Dolgeville, RT 29 W to Salisbury. Campground is just outside village limits at bottom of hill before Spruce Creek bridge and Salisbury Town Garage. Entrance is located on the left (south) side of the road, just before the bridge.
We just completed a 7-night stay in our 42' Class A motorhome, and have nothing but good things to say about this campground. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of other campgrounds, it's simply a quiet, well-kept place in a great location. We didn't have kids or pets with us, but the playground looked nice, and the camp store is compact but has what you need, and the grounds are well-maintained. We did some tubing on Spruce Creek that was lovely. Tubes are available for purchase in the camp store. We would highly recommend staying here (the KOA up the road is almost 3 times the price, which is fine if you like all those amenities, but we didn't need them)
I have to agree with some of the reviewers that this place is so well kept! A real Hidden gem in the area! The owner took great care of this camp ground and very personable! As a family with small children we feel safe and comfortable to run around! Will definitely revisit!
