The park is located off Route 26, 6 miles south of Lowville, near the Adirondack Park
Awesome gorge trail! Most definitely a hidden gem. It took about 3 hours to complete, but we stopped a lot to take photos and have water breaks. Fair warning, the trail is extremely close to the gorge drop off. There are no barriers so be very careful with kids and dogs.
Hunt for fossils along a beautiful stream, explore the woods and towering cliffs and complete with campsites and a beach. Love this spot.
Went only for the hiking trail but the park seems very clean and well kept. The trail is about 5 miles, some big hills in the very beginning and end but still an easy, well marked trail with beautiful views
Easy little day hike if you’re looking to just get out of the house. Beautiful area, took North trail up and south trail back and enjoyed the lookout tower as well. Restrooms were kept up and lots of kids on the playground too.
