About Campground

Welcome to the Adirondacks: home of the “46ers” mountain peaks, an abundance of iconic lakes, and the birthplace of great American camping! Spacious Skies Adirondack Peaks (formerly Camp Tin Box) combines the sweet nostalgia of classic campground fun with modern amenities and conveniences.

While most of our sites are full hook-up, we have water/electric spots hugging the river for a more rustic camping experience or for our tent campers. Our yurts vary in arrangements, with some geared toward families and some outfitted for the perfect couple getaway. Our cabins are available in a variety of sizes and with differing amenities, ensuring we have the perfect spot that meets each family or group’s needs.

We are proud to announce our partnership with [Black Folks Camp Too]() and are now the first “unity blaze certified” collection of private campgrounds!

Being Unity Blaze Certified confirms that all 15 of our campgrounds and our team are committed to making sure all campers know “You are Invited and Welcomed” — the Unity Blaze motto. While Spacious Skies has always firmly held this belief, we wanted to go one step further in partnering with BFCT to make sure all campground staff completed the Unity Blaze training program.

Spent a few days at Spacious Skies Adirondack Peaks on a solo-mommy adventure and loved it! I stayed in one of the deluxe cabins and enjoyed the walking trails and winding riverfront views. Definitely a leaf peeper's paradise during the Fall!

We recently camped four nights at Spacious Skies Adirondack Peaks with 4 other families last weekend and had a wonderful camping trip. This was our first time here since it was a Yogi Bear Campground so we were somewhat apprehensive. We all camped on riverview sites with our campers. The campground was clean including the restrooms. The employees were extremely nice and welcoming. The pools were clean and enjoyable. The kids with us ranged in age from 7 years old to young adults. They really enjoyed all of the activities available including the pools, ping pong table, pool table, gem mining, bike riding, jumping pillow and weekend activities involving a water themed weekend. Also the price per night was very reasonable. We will definitely be going back!

Husband and I took a trip with all 3 pups and I couldn't even tell you who had more fun!! The doggos and husband loved being able to walk the beautiful trail in the cooler weather, especially the husky. And being a fan of gems, I definitely bought an embarrassing amount of dirt for the gem mining(Got some good finds, so worth it!) Views were amazing and so was the staff, we will absolutely be back!!

Awesome campgrounds. Plenty of activities on the weekends for children. The pool is heated and was still open in the middle of September when we visited. Staff was super friendly and our cabin was clean. Only thing that could have been better would be a coffee machine vs a kuerig in the cabin. Other than that everything was perfect.

We traveled from Ontario for a week and the kids grabbed a yurt for a few days. Lots of activities for young and old. The mountains made a beautiful backdrop to our stay. Looks like the new owners are working hard at the campground, had in issue and the owners came good for everything. We had lots of room between the 3 sites we took. Lots of views and shopping. Take a chance at this park, it was worth the drive
