Quiet park with FHU, washer/dryer ($2 each,) and restroom. $48 a night and cash only. VERY steep for, in my opinion, a basic campsite. Getting there is beautiful by day and my eyes couldn't soak up enough of the countryside. The campsite is nestled in between other homes and trailers and you can see cattle and deer, and hear a roster crow.

I was alone for a few hours the two nights we stayed and each night I wasn't at all comfortable with being alone.

The first day I had my clothes in the dryer with 40 minutes left and went to eat lunch in my travel trailer. I went back to the laundry before the time was up and someone had stopped my load with ten minutes left on the timer and left the door open. It was only my clothing so I felt a little skeeved. After that day and first night I didn't feel comfortable walking my dogs at night. 🙄

However there was at least one family there with little little kids.

If you're willing to pay a steep price for a basic campsite to be in the beautiful countryside of Lockhart, Tx, then this place is for you.

Nice, quiet and clean. Owner is very kind. Onsite laundry with shower & toilet. We have 3 kids and a puppy. A playground area would be nice but there are several places to visit nearby.

No wifi as advertised. Very strict on rules watches everything you do. Not kid friendly or pet friendly. Cats everywhere and he don't keep his dogs on a leash and allows them to bark at everything all times of nights and days. Raised the rent and electric and gave notice late. We left early and cleaned are spot back to how it was when we arrived and has not gave deposit back after we have tried plenty of times to get in touch with him.
