Located at 5893 Jones Rd in Bryan, TX right behind the Brazos County Expo Center. Just 6 miles from Texas A&M University and Kyle Field,
This RV park was very nice to stay at. It is a few minutes from town which makes it quiet and convenient. There might not be anyone on site to help you when you check in, so give a call ahead of time to get the info. The sites are gravel and pretty level. There are a few longer term residents that are so nice and a pleasure to chat with. The inside of the buildings are absolutely pristine. The laundry room and bathrooms were immaculate and so was the impressive game room. There is also a work out room as well.
Quiet location about 5 miles outside of town. Next to a peaceful horse pasture. Blazing fast wifi (I believe I clocked 37 mps) so I could downstream HD with hardly any interruptions. The game room is unique and top notch. The owners wife has a massage studio next door and was willing to take me in late when she heard I was in pain. Would like to see someone manning the office more and better gravel (or maybe blacktop) on the sites, but otherwise I recommend this place ... if for no other reason than the name!
Excellent RV Park. Well maintained. The owner is vigilant in keeping rogue elements out. Much more than the usual shower stalls. There actually two full bathrooms, each with toilet, sink and shower, WITH a door! One has a full tub/shower. The club house/game room is very nice and includes a full kitchen and lots of seating. You can tell they really care about building a quality park. If I ever come back to the area, I will return to this park
This is a pretty barren park, set down next to a cattle field, but full of amenities. The pull throughs were empty when we stayed, but would be tight with a neighbor. Access in and out of the park is easy with no overhead obstacles. We had trouble finding the sewer as clover growth camouflaged the access. The community room was the best I've ever seen. Tons of free activities from a bowling lane to air hockey to several video games and board games. If you're a child of the 80s, they have a video game with 10 choices of games from that era. The room was spotless and well maintained. The very nice cleaning lady uses Theives cleaning products leaving a great smell behind. It seems like a lot of Campgrounds have a game room with second hand, sad looking games and furniture- not this place! Quality construction and activities. We did not use the shower or laundry facilities, but the bathroom next to the game room was spotless. Some fulltime residents. One of the quietest parks I've experienced.
Its been nice staying at the Galloping Snail this weekend! The operators/owners are super nice. The showers are clean, they have laundry and a little fenced dog area. The club house has a little bowling lane, a juke box, tv, a kitchen you can use that's in a renovated little Shasta camper. The rv/trailer spots are spacious enough that if you are over far enough you can park a vehicle next to it. All in all would use again! Just wish they had a pool its hot here in tx even in September 😩🔥
