Our local Kayaking destination usually Day pass only.

Stayed in cabins a few years ago room was clean, a very pleasant experience. If we didn't live so close, we would utilize the cabins at least a few times a

Cabins are great. Fishing is great too. But service was very unprofessional the lady up front was making her own rules. We rented two cabins and had two families visiting Saturday and the lady upfront didn’t want them outside in the cabin area They really gave me a hard time. Will not go back ever again.

What a great place to camp. everything was in top shape. all camping sites and bathrooms were clean and neat and well maintained. nothing was damaged or out of place. The staff where polite, helpful and professional. it was the second time staying at the park and enjoyed everything.

We have stayed in the cabins many times. This trip was disappointing.

The cabin was not clean as it has been in the past. The floors were dirty, tub had hair in it, every floor corner had dirt & above the kitchen cabinet had a large spider web with bugs stuck in it. Dead mouse on the sticky trap under the bathroom sink. Began stinking three days into our stay. We had to remove the mouse & sticky trap ourselves. The racoons were horrible at night in the wall and under the cabin. So noisy they disturbed our nightly sleep.

We tried to enjoy our stay despite the things I’ve mentioned. Hoping the management company will remedy these problems before the next guests arrive.

First off, I love Fayette, and this was my second time renting a cabin at Oak Thicket Park. The cabin was clean, and the check-in and check-out procedure was simply. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. I was there with a large kayak fishing tournament that had 140 entrants, and the entire experience was great. My only thing was the water pressure in the shower, but I'm at the lake and really don't care about that feature.
