We spent 7 months here. It is a great place to stay. The owners, Teresa and John are the best! Very friendly and take great pride in running a park that meets everyone’s needs immediately. Beautiful laundry facilities. Lovely dog park. Big Oaks is a quiet, wonderful place to be.
I am on active duty and chose this park specifically because it’s veteran run. I have been at this park for over two years and never even considered moving. It’s a quiet park, it’s kept clean and management goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. The laundry room is always spotless and there are several on and off leash dog areas. I highly recommend this park if you are in the Austin area.
We have loved every minute of the 6 months we lived here. Everyone is so willing to help and give advise which was awesome since this was our first time being full time. When we had the big ice storm John showed us exactly what to buy and what to do to keep our RV from freezing. It's such a quiet and peaceful place, like being out in the country inside of the city :) If we come back to this area we will for sure be staying here again! Thanks Teresa and John for everything!!!
If you want a friendly place with beautiful views, this is the place to stay. We come to Texas spring and fall for up to 6 weeks at a time. This park feels like you’re in the country, and yet all the stores and services you need are just a couple miles away. The owners are on site Mon-Fri to help with any problems you might have. You can have your packages delivered to the office and they will text you when your package arrives. To me Teresa and John go above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay.
I lived full time on this site for a little over a year and always found the staff helpful and friendly. The laundry room is clean and up to date as well!!
Location wise- this is a great spot in North Austin/Cedar Park and the commute into Central Austin was never more than 35 mins for me.
The best feature I used was the propane exchange: easier & cheaper than any surrounding stores
I am currently using a storage spot on the property, which is madly convenient if you’re transitioning out of an RV or need a storage spot for your vacationer.
Overall I would recommend this park either for a weekend or for months. Much respect to the owners who genuinely work to make sure the park is safe, clean, and friendly.
