Campsite: Pecan Creek RV Park

Quiet park with FHU, washer/dryer ($2 each,) and restroom. $48 a night and cash only. VERY steep for, in my opinion, a basic campsite. Getting there is beautiful by day and my eyes couldn't soak up enough of the countryside. The campsite is nestled in between other homes and trailers and you can see cattle and deer, and hear a roster crow.

I was alone for a few hours the two nights we stayed and each night I wasn't at all comfortable with being alone.

The first day I had my clothes in the dryer with 40 minutes left and went to eat lunch in my travel trailer. I went back to the laundry before the time was up and someone had stopped my load with ten minutes left on the timer and left the door open. It was only my clothing so I felt a little skeeved. After that day and first night I didn't feel comfortable walking my dogs at night. 🙄

However there was at least one family there with little little kids.

If you're willing to pay a steep price for a basic campsite to be in the beautiful countryside of Lockhart, Tx, then this place is for you.
