I come here fishing for bass and trout (in the winter). Sometimes, I will bring food here and sit on the bench enjoying my food.

We stayed 17 days at Lady Bird Johnson Park. The campground is very well managed and manicured. We stayed in the lower area where RVs are backed in with your neighbor. The sites are not very long and we had to park our tow car on the grass next to us. The sites are nice with strong water pressure (very strong), good electric voltage and even cable TV although in digital channels. The park sits right next to the county airport. If you don’t like hearing small planes don’t stay here. They do hundreds of touch and go maneuvers during the week. Even quite a few jets. Bit noisy. The park area has TONS to do. A pool, lots of pickle ball and a river. Fredericksburg is busy on weekends and much slower during the week. There is a Walmart nearby and a pin HEB grocery store.

Very nice setup. Huge RV Park. FHU with good WiFi. 5 TV channels. Level sites. Pull throughs and back ins. Feels safe. Quiet. Playground. Dog run. Pool and golf course adjacent. The pull through sites 57-61 are spaced away from each other. Does not matter which way you pull in on these sites because you have FHU on both sides of your site. They have single use restrooms/showers that are clean. $52 a night.

Clean and nice. Plenty of places to sit and the pool is very well kept and massive. Our boys loved the diving board. The pool is next door to the airport so watching the planes comes in and out is a bonus.

Great spot for our RV while we explored Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. Our site was a back-in, in the back lower area. Flat but we did need to use some risers on the RVs one side. Strong water pressure. Great electric too. A special treat to have Wi-Fi and cable enabling us to watch the Super Bowl. We did not hear noise from the airport. Our dog enjoyed the massive and I really do mean massively large dog park. The bathrooms were clean and nice. Nice quiet park that we plan to stay at again when we return to Fredericksburg.
