Basic and Dispersed Camping Information
Basic and Dispersed Permits:
You may camp almost anywhere in Land Between the Lakes. A Basic Camping Permit is required for each person 18 and over when camping in Basic Camping Facilities. A Dispersed Camping Permit is required when camping in non-designated areas of the recreation area. Both permits currently cost $50 for an annual permit and $10 for a 3-day permit and can be purchased online or any of our facilities. Please note that these permits do not apply when camping at Self-Service Campgrounds.
I worked here from 2010 to 2013 or kinda 2010. It was great except one troop member saying I wrote something inappropriate on my hand when I didn't.
But it's a good scout camp.
And we didn't have a pool back then.
I attended a running event at Crooked Creek. The park is beautiful and the buildings well maintained.
Went to the dining hall for Order of the Arrow winter Banquet. Food was catered and decent.
Parking was atrocious, especially for anyone who were handicapped.
Went camping there with Cub Scouts Troop it was so nice Beautiful scenery
My week was great, though I wished we could have had fireworks since it was the 4th of July week. The food was the best camp food I've ever had. Also someone brought a pet goat on family day
