About Campground

Beyond all of the basic camping amenities... a friendly staff, clean hot showers, well kept grounds, and a diverse selection of campsites, the Falls Campground offers a one of a kind camping experience.

The main attraction and centerpiece of the campground is "The Falls of Blaine Creek". While this natural wonder is not tall in stature, it makes up for it in breadth and depth. And what it produces from its sandstone and fresh clean water is something very much worth experiencing...

The sound of the water rolling and tumbling over the falls creates a peaceful oasis of rest and relaxation. The sight of white water dancing and swirling between the nooks and crannies of the falls is totally mesmerizing. The sandy beach below the falls is a wonderful spot to soak up some sun or wade in the creek. Waking to the beautiful mornings with the misty fog rising off the water as the sunrise glimmers on the glass like surface above the falls. The exceptional opportunity to fill your stringer with an rich variety of fish in the deep pools below the falls.

Come visit us when you get the chance and see for yourself why camping at The Falls Campground is...

Simply Relaxing.

An absolutely awesome campground with great people!!! Visiting alone I felt very welcomed by SJ and the rest of the staff. They had me playing bags and sitting by the fire singing songs with them. The campground is very well kept and very beautiful right next to the falls. I was able to fall asleep to the sound of the water. Also very nice having convenience store across the street as well as a breakfast/pizza place close by. I really hope I find myself near eastern Kentucky again just so I can stay here! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We were new to the RV Camping experience when we arrived at The Falls Camping-ground. Since we have come from Missouri, it took us a little longer to get there with all the traffic and stops. We got there late. The guy who was driving around the camp ground during the evening greeted us very friendly, he even helped my husband guide into the lot in the dark. We asked how we were going to pay since the office was already closed and he was very helpful and friendly and said we could get it all sorted out in the morning and to get some sleep first. After 12 hours on the road, this was absolutely amazing and very accommodating. The next day we sorted it all out and the people at the office were nice, friendly and amazing as well.

Even though it’s in the middle of the woods and if you are not from around there and have AT&T like us, there is absolutely no reception. However, that really wasn’t anything we have missed, since the wifi at The Falls, was one of the best wifi a campground could have.

The campground overall was very well kept. You can go fish and release there and we even saw people swim. There are 2 large jungle gyms for the kids and a Basketball court.

If you need something from the store, the Dollar General is right across the street. We just walked there it was that close.

The showers are large and with the toilets the restroom area has always been clean no matter the time.

They already had a hose at the dumping station, which made it very convenient.

They are Dog-friendly and all of us loved being around the woods and nature.

Overall, we are very satisfied. Thank you The Falls Campground Team for making our first camping experience such a wonderful one! When we visit family again, we will be back!
