People were very friendly. We rented a "rustic" cabin. You bring your own linens. The cabin was very musty, and there were mice chewing and running around in the loft. Response in the office at checkout was kind of "oh well".

It's convenient to the Ark Encounter, but there are other choices I would use before returning here

It’s a very quiet and clean campground. The new owner is really nice and working hard to incorporate upgrades. Convenient to the Ark. We stayed 3 nights and left early the last morning and the owner came out to tell us to have a safe trip 😀 We gave 4 stars only because it’s tight for a big rig to get in and out.

When we stayed in August and unbeknownst to us they were in the middle of switching ownership. The old owners actually took our $100 deposit and did not mail it as discussed. The current owners went out of their way and refunded our money- which they were not at all obligated to do.

I wish there were more pictures in the description of the cabins so you have somewhat of an idea what you're renting but other than that it fit our family’s needs and we had some good memories made in a nice quiet setting. We would definitely come back.

If you’re coming for the Ark/Creation this is the perfect in between location!

New owners are very accommodating and thoughtful. They took the time to give us a private tour of the property including the beautiful hiking trails. The bathhouse was very clean. Y’all keep up the good work! Looking forward to seeing all your plans come to life! Can’t wait to visit again!… we’ve picked out a perfect place to pitch our tent! The Ark Encounter is a must see and is only ten minutes away!

Three Springs Campground is an amazing place. Nestled in between a few small hills, with a pond and trails, it’s a hidden gem. The owners are amazing and super hospitable. When they looked at the weather and realized we were planning to stay in our tent, they upgraded us to a cabin at no extra charge. And checked in on us regularly to make sure we stayed warm and had everything we needed. The cabins are basic, yet perfect if you are simply trying to enjoy nature with a bit more of a roof over your head. And the owners have added little touches for convenience like a microwave, a two burner hot plate, coffee maker etc and even things like a folding table and extra chairs to make your stay easier and more comfortable.

The convenience of how close it is to the Ark encounter was also a huge plus.

Will definitely be back to stay here if we are in the area again and will be recommending it to all our friends.
