Our first time at this campground, but dry it our last! Beautiful campground with amazing hosts! They have wonderful hot food you can buy for any meal. The breakfast is my fav!. On weekends they even smoke meats for you to purchase as a meal. Bathrooms are very clean also with large showers in each. They even offer a decent variety of craft beers in the camp store/restaurant.

I live in Florida and was visiting family. They were praising their pizza and it did not disappoint! From what I could see, the campground is definitely something I want to do!

The wife and I stayed here for our anniversary this year. We were determined to do some hiking in the gorge. We also wanted a primitive tent site that also allowed us some privacy. This place fit the bill. Whether you're in an RV or pitching a tent, this is an awesome campground. The prices are right, the location is good, and the hospitality was warm and welcoming. The camp store has everything you could want, including food all day long, smoked bbq, pizza, and homemade breakfast! The bathrooms are also the cleanest and best I've ever seen at a campground, no exaggeration. I told the very nice gentleman running the place that we would be back and I meant it. Great hospitality and a fantastic camping experience. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed tent camping at Callies. The property is beautiful, the tent camping options good, and bathrooms were very clean…though I do wish they had a changing table in at least one of the restrooms as it was cold to change my little one in the tent/car. Our toddler loved their sweet play area and we enjoyed a bite to eat in the morning.

We enjoyed our stay last summer (2023) at Callie’s Lake and Campground. It has a friendly, relaxed, festive atmosphere. Lots of families enjoying time together and enjoying the beautiful Red River Gorge area. The on site restaurant was wonderful, and the karaoke and live music was a nice surprise. A big thumbs up goes to the private bathrooms! They are way better than community bath setups. They were diligent about keeping them clean as well. Nice location close to The Gorge and associated activities. You’ve gotta try Miguel’s Pizza while in the area! We will definitely be back. 😊
