We stayed 2 nights September 18 & 19 the bathrooms (men’s & women’s) were nasty not just messy I mean disgusting like they hadn’t been cleaned all summer. The park itself looked good except the camp host right up front was very cluttered and had things underneath his camper. We still love the area but I think they could do a lot better

Campground bathrooms were filthy and never had soap. Clumps of hair the size of golfballs in the shower. Scum coated sinks. Maintenance comes thru and just sprays bleach water. The roads need repaving badly. Also be aware that golfcourse lawnmowers and leaf blowers start at 7:30 am.

If it would let me leave zero, I would. The campground is terribly small, and yet somehow it states that site #24 can accommodate at 34' rig. This is absolutely false. We generally stay in state parks about 90% of our camping adventures. So I can forgive the uneven sites, the lack of directions or guidance. What I can't put up with is saying an RV will fit in a site that it clearly won't and having the electric pedestal for site #24 sitting in site #23. We would have needed nearly 2 extension cords to reach and the pedestal looked like it was in disrepair. We went to the proshop to review this problem and he seemed to act like it wasn't his problem. Suggested talking to the host camp who wasn't even on the grounds....no way to get a refund! Rude and unhelpful staff. Save yourself from lighting $40 bucks on fire and find somewhere else!

Camp host lacked the personality to be a host. This was our 2nd time communicating with him and both times he left us with a poor impression. The website stated many sites available, but the host said they were reserved. We won’t try staying again.

The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting filthy wouldn’t dare use them. The electrical and water supplies are an excessive distance from the sites and I had to use an additional electrical cord in order to reach the electrical supply. The grounds were not well kept looks nothing like the photo. The sites themselves were so unlevel that they required 10 or more inches to try to stabilize your unit. On a positive note, it was close to several distilleries in downtown Bardstown. I could not see us ever staying here again.
