About Campground

Set back almost a mile from the main road on its own private drive, Lago Linda Hideaway provides security and privacy for its campers in a gorgeous setting. The 35 Piney Woods and Lazy Oaks campsites (which can be reserved in advance) lie on ridge tops among groves of oak trees, allowing campers to spread out and enjoy as much privacy as they wish. All of these campsites are graveled and have electrical hookups.

Each site has its own city water, picnic table, and fire ring. In addition, a large, grassy meadow provides ample overflow camping for tent and car campers, including a big, covered, cooking pavilion with electricity along with another covered area that provides additional shelter for a number of tents.

Lago Linda Hideaway has a bathhouse with hot showers and flush toilets, as well as Broadband Internet access. Well-behaved children and dogs are welcome to this accommodating environment.

Lago Linda was the absolute best place to stay. They did an absolutely wonderful job hosting over 200 people for the adaptive climbers festival and they helped throw us an unforgettable wedding!! Kudos to the lago Linda staff for being the absolute best hosts with the most amazing campsite.

We stayed here recently and had a wonderful time. The new owners Larry and Elaine are so sweet and caring. The camping is idyllic and quiet and the food at the cafe was lovely. Looking forward to coming back for another visit.

This is a cute little family-focused property, complete with a small lake and amenities to ensure private bathroom and shower experience. The owners were very lenient with late arrivals, complete with an honor system to pay for wood, ice, and registration. The owner seemed very friendly, and had the interest of making a family-friendly camping experience. They were constructing upgrades to the main building and had areas for people to relax, including an air-conditioned recreation building and a group campfire area.

My one complaint, if any, is how close some of the camp sites were together. However, the residents were all very friendly, and I actually grew to appreciate having neighbors, and it helped us rest easy knowing we had good energy around us. The forest felt peaceful and we literally slept under the stars with our style of tent having a stargazer ceiling. Please note if you do visit, you'll need to purchase firewood on location and this is to prevent invasive species and overall nurture forest health.

If you're looking for a safe and reliable campsite to enjoy with friends and family, I'd recommend this location.

I always rent Breezy Point. Very clean and comfortable. They provide a canoe for the lake. They answer and quickly address any problems I've ever had. I always enjoy my stays there. There's a small island with this cabin.
