Beautiful and fun place to camp. For those of you who have never camped here before I would suggest calling the office to determine if a site would fit your camper or not. We have a 44ft fifth wheel with 5 slide outs and we are limited to only a handful of sites that will comfortably accommodate our camper size.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Quick to help us setup and address any issues. Allowed us to change our reservations without issue or charge. Lots of activities.
They were decorated all throughout the camp for Halloween and had Trick or Treat for the kids. So fun!! Highly recommend. We will return. Owensboro has neat little gems hidden throughout as well from shopping to dinning. Enjoyed our time there.
Just really loved our time there, we will be back this coming weekend. On Saturday evening we went to the Pizza shop and was treated well beyond expectations. We ordered two different hunks of pizza and two single orders of wings. We got the wings, and two whole pizzas. I guess it was because is was late Saturday and they were closed Sunday, so they didn't want to keep the rest of the pizza. ❤❤ 🤷♂️
We loved our super sight. Lots of room, full hook up, nice concrete pad with a picnic table on it and a really nice fire pit. Pizza and Ice-cream shop is always a hit. My son loves feeding the fish and ducks. Go carts are fun. Play ground is nice. Lots of shoddy areas to walk as well. If you like fishing you will love it. Try out their Boo Fest weekends, you won't regret it.
The staff and service was great! Not really what I would consider a "resort". That's a bit misleading, but the property absolutely has the bones to be such. One dog park, nice size, in the back corner of the property, and no lighting at all. Laundry equipment is not kept up and the majority is inoperable. One laundry house has water leaking all the time. Lots of road work and site pads maintenance needed. Over all out and around the multiple lakes, the place is beautiful! Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.
