Camped there over the weekend. Nice quite area. Few campers. The campsites are next to the creek. Lots of wildlife in the area. It's close to Clear Creek Lake, Zilpo and Leatherwood boat ramp.

We just love this camp ground some what rustic with water on tap, no dump stations but almost never crowded. We spent 4 days just enjoying the sounds of nature.

No camp host but the one that has been there for years I hear suffered a mild heart attack. We truly miss him wishing him the best.

This primitive campground is nestled into the woods along side a creek near Cave Run Lake. Cell phone service here is limited at best, and the closest store is a couple miles down the road. Clear Creek Shooting range is right up the road, very close and very clean. Toilet houses are on site, as well as dumpsters. Wildlife spotting is very real here, and there are bears in the area. Overall, if you are looking for a primitive campground, this is a great place to spend a weekend!

I enjoyed this campground, having one of the prettiest sites helped. Facilities are nice. Surprisingly not busy over July 4 weekend.
