The hosts were so friendly and awesome!! I was so surprised to get a camping spot the week of Memorial Day weekend! We got a tent site right between the bathrooms and playground. The bathrooms were very nice and clean, as was the shower and plenty of hot water. They have washer&dryer and drink machines! We were able to use the canoe and paddle boat at our leisure at no extra charge as well as fishing in both ponds. They didn’t charge for all the extra things that should be apart of camping so that made it a great trip for a single mom, ice was free and a bundle of firewood was included per night of your stay. Bring cash for extra firewood and earth worms! They came and picked up our trash each day , they made camping so pleasant and it was a beautiful spot tucked in the mountains of Whittier! We will definitely be back!

This is a quiet, family-friendly campground that is maintained in immaculate condition. Check-in was easy with friendly service, and they offer complimentary ice and firewood. The tent campsite was well-marked and included clean and drinkable running water, a fire pit with grill, picnic bench, and trash can with plenty of room for parking and the tent. We liked that the campsites are spacious enough where you do not feel like you are packed in with the other guests. The restrooms were extremely clean and well-stocked, and the showers had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The women's restroom had a baby changing table as well as a large sink reserved for baby baths. The grounds included access to fishing/swimming ponds as well as a small playground for kids. The owners were friendly, polite, and informative-you can tell that they take great pride in their campground! It was an excellent camping experience and we will definitely stay again if we are ever in the area!

A small, quiet place. The creek sounds are so relaxing. The free ice and firewood are nice extras. Sites are fairly well spaced out so you can have some privacy. Bathrooms were clean but nothing special. The most annoying thing was the camp road. I completely respect the owners right to set speed limits on his campground. But it is inexcusable to erect road hazards every 10 yards or so. These are not simple speed bumps. No. He puts ditches followed by bumps at odd angles to the road. The result is unless you cross them at 1/2 of a mile per hour, every vertical thing you might have in your camper will on its side or on the floor! So you end up taking 15-20 minutes on the short loop around the grounds and drive as much on the grass as possible. Very inhospitable.

Small, quiet place. My husband came here when he was young, so we decided to bring our boys. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our boys found some nice kids to play with and we felt safe letting them explore, swim, etc. We stayed at site 27. Right across from the fishing pond and beside the creek. We didn't bring our camper. This time we brought our tent, and the creek was so nice to listen to. We will definitely be back as soon as we can. ❤️
