A beautiful park easily located off the main highway. However. That feature was our ONLY negative. We had a site right above the 4 lane highway and the volume of traffic made it difficult to sleep. Just being situated on any further roadway made the difference. Just try to request a site away from Hwy 441. Loved that they escorted you to your site, offered several lovely amenities and the landscaping is lovely! Would return knowing a specific site to park. Clean park with mountain views. Close to many activities to do and restaurant's to dine.

Very cute, very well maintained park! Everyone was super friendly.

Some of the cleanest bathroom s I've seen in a park.

Nice spaces.

Lots of things to do nearby!

So many beautiful plants and flowers everywhere, I really enjoyed that.

Plus the puppy park was very nice.

We really enjoyed our stay here! When we arrived, we were escorted to our site and they guided us in; making backing in a breeze. The sites are level, spacious, and offer full hookups. Amenities here are top notch and the entire campground is very well kept. The best part about our stay: the camp hosts. They were all super friendly and welcoming. If you’re headed to Franklin NC, add Great Outdoors to your list. We enjoyed it so much we’re already planning a trip back!

Sadly, I don’t have any shareworthy pics of the campground BUT we did visit Dry Falls (one of the many area waterfalls on a huge list they gave us at check in of area things to do). We stopped here on our way to Highlands and it did not disappoint!

Stayed here for a week, absolutely loved it. The campground host and his wife were very nice, very friendly. We had our dogs with us and they loved it too.

We normally don’t catch the fall leaf thing, but this year we timed it just right. Do both yourself and the campground a big favor and book yourself a nice week of camping here. This place is close to everything you could want.

Absolutely beautiful park! Set in the woods and surrounded by wildlife. Upon our arrival 1 of the employees escorted us to our site AND directed into our site with absolute perfection! The sites are all on different elevations so I'd guess it's done to prevent some newbie from going over the edge but regardless the service was extremely appreciated after a long day on the road! Our 2 big dogs loved walking around the property and sniffing all the good smells. Will definitely be stopping by here our next time in the area. 1 note, make sure to fill out your RV size appropriately as not all sites are fit for everything. 👍👍
