Located 5 miles from downtown Saluda. Orchard Lake Campground is 6 miles from Interstate 26. Take exit 59 & follow directional signs towards downtown Saluda. Cross the bridge over railroad tracks and immediately turn LEFT onto Irwin St. Go one block and turn RIGHT onto Greenville St, which becomes Mt Page Rd. Go 3.5 mi & turn LEFT at our sign onto Mine Mt Rd. Continue 1.5 mi & pull down the one way road next to our entrance sign.
I rented for a month but was told the day after I got there that I had to leave because my camper was not up to there standards. Even the owner came down and asked me to leave. I asked if they would give me a chance to get my camper cleaned up and I wanted stay the month I had already paid for. They firmly said no, but that they would return my security deposit and rent when I left. That was Monday afternoon and I haven't seen a dime of my refund yet. And I need the money back to find somewhere else to move to. But I haven't heard from them since I left. I am going to try and get a hold of them tomorrow and see why they haven't given me my money back yet. Hopefully I will be able to get it without incident. And move on.
I stayed here for 3 .months while our new home was being built. I really really enjoyed my stay here. The grounds and lake are very beautiful and peaceful. I miss Saluda and the area. Saw my first bear on the way home one night.
Thanks for everything. See you soon.

Absolutely love this place from the campsites to the cabins! We’ve been going here every year for about 10 years and look forward to 10 more. Thank you to everyone who makes this campground possible! Not to mention the ponds, and provided canoes, paddle boats and life jackets! Truly a one of a kind place.
Overall, we had a lovely weekend at Orchard Lake and would recommend this campground. They clean their bathrooms daily, plan family-friendly activities, and have many nicely shaded sites. We were a bit disappointed when they changed our site on us without notification. (We reserved a longer site, but when someone with a camper larger than ours wanted it, we were bumped to a shorter site.) Also, the water in one of the ladies' showers was cold. Still, overall we had a lovely weekend and will definitely consider returning.
We loved our time here. The place is GREAT for families. My kids loved the soccer field, golf course, zip line, fishing, and everything else. The workers are fun, kind, and helpful. It’s close to good hiking and experiencing small towns. Make sure to head to Judd’s Peak at sunset - it’s awesome in the fall. As long as you don’t mind campsites being close together then you’ll love this place.
