My birthday weekend. I traveled from Ga. with a friend and met my 2 daughters families from Canton, sister and birth mothers family from Florida. It was a beautiful weekend the KOA was exemplary, clean , great staff, pricing at the time was much higher than I was used to pre- covid. however it was a great place for everyone to be able to get together.

Great stay in Asheville. Would highly recommend this RV park and facility. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Always had great suggestions on what to do and where to eat.

Sites were clean, easy to get in and enough room from your neighbor.

Only 20 minutes to Asheville and it’s an easy ride. Even though the grounds are right off I-40 we never had any problem with the noise from the trucks. When outside you can hear them but in the RV never heard them.

Beautiful fall foliage. Amazing staff. Received text msg day of to share ETA, and it was super easy to plan for after hrs arrival. Site map, instructions and all location info was in order waiting for us. They were also very helpful with local area plans, and they even went out of their way to share great ideas for future travel plans in other parts of the country! Can’t say enough good things! We will definitely stay here again!

Positives: Staff at check-in were very friendly. The location was close enough to Asheville , which was convenient for activities. Negatives: The highway noise was bad. I am surprised other reviews did not mention this enough times. We were offered free ear plugs and suggested apps for white noise at check-in. We were in a pull thru site nearest the highway, but it wouldn't have mattered if we were 2 rows over. There was an air of neglect about the place. Roads are narrow and need some work ( potholes, need more gravel). Campground runs on well water and we were encouraged to conserve. No judgment, just a fact. No grass at site, just gravel and leaves.

Easy off and on I40. Quiet. Super clean bathroom and shower facilities! Sites are big enough. There’s no grass at the sites but that’s pretty typical in the mountains. The staff are vety friendly and helpful. The only “negative” might be the water pressure at times was low but it wasn’t bad enough to take a star away. We found that issue to be evening time more than throughout the day. This was our second time staying at this campground and we will definitely stay again!
