Very nice and secluded campground with amazing views. Sometimes you'll even spot an elk or two. There are no sites with water nor electricity, but there is an outlet in the shower house, but I haven't tested it. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring.

If you like more of a primitive campground with spectacular views away from the main highway (although not far off the Blue Ridge Parkway) then this is probably the place for you.

I should have left this review forever ago, but now that we are headed back I feel obligated! We camp in a lot of places around the US and this is definitely one of the best places we have been. The owner was extremely hospitable and made my wife and family feel at home . Would recommend this for anyone staying within a 50 mile radius. It is worth the drive.

I'm not doing myself a favor by giving this place 5 stars, but it was 5 stars. Great office staff(DJ booked us) and camp host. Free eggs when we arrived from a local chicken. All the(we camped in a tent) spots were perfect. Off grid. Fresh mountain water for showers(heated). And dishwashing. Real bathrooms. Great access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Minutes from Cherokee and Maggie Valley. On the border of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Possible Elk sightings! Excellent experience.

AMAZING!!! The host was very nice and helpful with everything we needed. The bathrooms were kept clean and water pressure was great! The campground also had zero litter and weeds/grass were not an issue. Other than that stuff, it was a surreal environment to live in for the week we stayed… I am DEFINITELY going back asap!!!

Had to give 5 stars for the views alone. I believe we were at camp site 4. So much room for activities. We had family camping on both sides of us, it was very convenient. The toilets were right by us, a quick trek. We drove to the showers so it was a minute away. We were there the last week of season in October, so fair warning, no hot water 😅 I absolutely loved this campground, great experience!
