WARNING: We made reservations 3 months ago for 3 nights in this campground and had to prepay. The lady on phone did not tell me they were non-refundable! We were going to visit my sister closeby. My sister caught covid 4 days before we were to leave! I called to cancel. The lady told me then they were non-refundable! I ask her if we could apply the money to a trip in the future. She said no!! BEWARE!!!
Well cared for family oriented campground. Close to a lot of activities. We made reservations for the following year we enjoyed our stay so much!
Check in was quick and easy. The young lady who helped us was extremely pleasant and efficient. She told us the best way to get to our site and following her suggestions made backing my camper very easy - otherwise I probably would have been backing up a very steep hill. The campground is very well kept and the bathhouse was neat and clean. Since we were there in the early spring and it actually snowed on us we weren't able to use the pool and other facilities. There is a small on-site store that has the basics. The location is really pleasant- very close to DuPont state forest and the little village of Cedar Mountain about a mile away has a nice taproom and restaurant. I will definitely return.
Place is amazing my brother and I have been here 3 times to mountain bike nearby trails this is a great place to relax and get away from it all. Cell service as expected in the mountains. Awesome breakfast place around the corner.
Rented a lot for one night for myself and two others. Good rate. Very safe. Family-oriented. Nice bathrooms. Wonderful help. Great place.
