Great place and the staff very friendly. I can tell that the folks who run the campground are trying to make the place as welcoming as possible. I enjoyed camping with my wife and son. We camped along the small creek and it was comfortable and quiet besides road noise. I normally go deep in the woods to camp but I was with family this time. Highly recommend staying here! I hope to be back soon.
Very friendly staff, very helpful. We stayed for a few days at the end of Oct on site# 58. Really nice campground with a good general store, food options, a pond, lots of ducks, and nice view of the trees on the mountainside. There was a stage for live music that made us want to come back in the summer. Since we were staying late in the season, the campground was very open, which was also nice.
I will share a "heads up" for future guests that if you stay on #58 at the end of Oct... your camper will be under a nut tree that will be dropping on your camper continuously (throughout the night). Some of them must have fallen from the top branches because they sounded like they were coming through the roof they were so loud, lol. Anyway, that goes with nature, but I did find myself scoping out other treeless sites for a future visit, ha ha. Great campground.
We came down on kinda a "maiden voyage" with our new camper. The campground was super clean and well kept. The staff was all very friendly but Angel was above and beyond, he was always available to answer our questions. He's super knowledgeable and went out of his way to help us work out the "kinks" of properly setting up our new camper! Thanks to all for making our trip great! See you again soon!
Angel and Amy were extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. My husband and I have been to many campgrounds over the last several years and Happy Holiday RV has been the nicest place we’ve stayed so far. They have a full snack bar, a cool retro arcade, clean bathrooms, firewood, ice and just about anything else you may want. We stayed at site 95, which is one of the sites on the creek and it was the best spot for us! We were completely surrounded by the beautiful mountains- great view! We will be back! Thank you ‘A-Team’!! The Bairds.
I stayed here last week on a family vacation. I love the area, the facilities were super nice. A lot of the staff were amazing. I did have an encounter with a guy who works there though that I can't shake. His name was Angel. He was extremely pushy, trying to pressure me and push me into writing a good review. Extremely flirty, which I didn't appreciate at all. And not the charming kind of flirty that makes you feel good. It was the creepy kind that makes you want to lock your doors, take a bath in running alcohol, and make sure your kids are always with in your sight. The encounters alone set an uneasy tone for the rest of our stay and I'm not sure that we will be back, even though this is a place we have visited before and loved. The rest of the staff however was great as usual.
