What a beautiful campground. This was a perfect 3 day getaway for our family of 6. Location was great, and far from the busy tourist areas. Brandy and Donna at the front check-in were so helpful. We have never been here before and they walked us through everything to expect. Super friendly! Like other reviews, golf carts are a must. So many options for the family!

Had our first trip there this weekend. We loved it. The staff we encountered was great with the exception of check in and the young lady didn’t seem thrilled to be there but outside of that they were all wonderful. Loved our site. The property very well maintained as well as the bathhouses extremely clean. We thought the restaurant was really good for dinner but the cafe by the pool is way out priced. The amenities are also wonderful. Why the 3 stars?….well for those of us that enjoy doing lots of camping this place is just high. For us it’s not a place we would say is a regular because of pricing. If it weren’t for such high pricing it would be a once a month go to spot and probably several weeks a year. Quite a few open sites this weekend and from hearing others if pricing was lower the park would have been packed. We had friends that stayed in a small cabin for three nights that cost them over $1200 not including a golf cart and believe me you need a golf cart. Our experience was great but I have to emphasize pricing is just crazy.

We stayed here in July, and it was the best family staycation we've taken yet! The camp is a little over an hour away from Charlotte. We stayed in a beautiful log cabin right across from the lake. Every activity is planned around the kids, and most are included in your stay. Great for young kids too as my son had just turned four. Staff are friendly and helpful. The property is very well maintained. Our cabin was very clean. An added bonus is that our dog was able to join us on this trip and she could stay in the pet-friendly cabin with the cool AC blasting while we were busy during the day. I would recommend renting a golf cart to get around because the camp is very big - plus you can join the nightly parades! Needless to say, we will be returning next summer!

Amazing experience. The kids had a blast when we took them. Make sure you get the golf cart. You do not want to walk this place. Little tiny home cabins were so cute and functional. We had an amazing time at the kitty waterslide park and we also did the gem mining, and putt putt. The kids loved the playground, and there are a lot of activities for kids, crafts, water, obstacle course, canoeing, and paddle. We plan to make this a yearly visit. Only downside is a grocery store is about 20 to 30 minutes away so make sure you stop by and get everything you need before you head to the park. Also, the closest restaurant is the same distance so be prepared to cook or eat at one of the little café on site. Food on site is pretty good but don’t expect some fine dining like a steak at this place. It’s more of a pizza ,finger food ,hotdog or cheeseburger places to eat. They do have a little ice cream parlor and a little mini convenient store that has a lot of stuff in it. Everything and there’s a little overpriced but that’s what you can expect at any destination, or park like this. Overall, we love this place and can’t wait to go again this year.

This campground is absolutely beautiful!! The bathrooms are clean and the area around it is clean as well. Everything is very well maintained. The staff is very helpful, and willing to go above and beyond for all the guests at the park. We have stayed here twice now, and plan on going back. Recommend get a golf cart to tour the entire park and all the spectacular views. The alpine coaster is also a fun to do.
