Everyone should come here, the location was great right after coming down from Mount Mitchell. This was an amazing campground. Everyone was so friendly especially Vicci in the office.

The view by the river was amazing and we were told good for trout. The campground was clean and bug free. All of the sites are level and provide power. The campground had playground equipment for children.

The bathrooms were the best bathrooms we've ever seen at a campground. They were clean, well lit, bug free, hot water, and newly renovated with showers.

This is the best campground I have ever stayed at in Marion. The best customer service and the bathhouse is 5 star, lots of hot water and no bugs! Spot #8 has great shade trees to keep you cool and great for sitting under while watching the river go by. There is even some ducks, geese and a turtle that you can watch in the river as well. We have a small camper no tents are allowed on camper sites so that was the only disappointment. We are already looking forward to going back maybe late summer or early fall.

Very crowded but clean campground. Lots of motorcycles and dogs. We fished in the river behind us, which is what we came for - to fish and check out Marion. Campground is very clean and well maintained. No cable. WIFI is spotty but you are in the mountains. Very close to town and restaurants. Marion is a very cute and quaint town but has some very nice shops and restaurants downtown.

This was a nice campground in Marion. We were in right by the river. This was a more quiet river, so you didn’t really hear the water, however it was still beautiful! They had ducks come up to you. We loved that! The sites are level and water pressure was good. They had a little play ground that my kids absolutely loved. We were right across from it. They do have WiFi . Also we were by a tree, so on warm days our camper collected a lot of these red and black bugs. Thankfully not too many got inside, however that is part of the camping life! Lol I did buy bug spray and tried to spray around the slide out and windows and that did seem to help. Our only minor issue was the place did overbook. So someone came to our spot and told us we were in their spot that they reserved months ago😳. Thankful we did not have to move, I was right in the middle of cooking dinner and having a bigger camper it’s just more work. I did feel bad for the people because they came as a group of three and they all wanted to be together. They seemed to work It out, and they didn’t give us any problems. It was just a big confusion! It was a great time and the trees were so beautiful!
