I was pleasantly surprised to discover the reality of the campground aligned fairly closely to the online photos.

- There was a nicely maintained grass field, pool area, and pavilion

- The staff was quite friendly and attentive to questions/requests

- The primitive campsites were fairly close together allowing little privacy

- No external firewood was allowed; a bundle of 8 logs could be purchased for $8

- The road leading down the campground is gravel and somewhat steep

10/10 recommend this camp ground. Upon arrival we could not easily see our camp site but the grounds manager Jerry was quick to assist us and treat us as tho he already knew us. The views are amazing!

The bathrooms are exceptional, clean and easy to access.

The mine was such a fun experience and the staff were friendly and quick to help.

could not say enough good things we will definitely be back!

We spent a weekend at Rose Creek Campground in April 2023. Our experience was awesome and we will absolutely be back to camp again. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and the campground host was very attentive to all the campers. The nights were so quiet and peaceful; a very relaxing place to spend time with family and friends. This campground is far enough away from the road that you don't hear any noise from vehicles but also close enough to downtown Franklin that you can still enjoy getting out and exploring the city.

The location was close to town and our big rig 38 ft fit perfect. A lot of room on sites and friendly staff. We went fishing, rockhounding, and drove through the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed an extra week. They even have a mine onsite check for the season opening.

My husband and I came camping for my birthday, nice site, nice pool, bathhouse was clean, they had a gem Mine next door, that was actually fun. The pond was cute, saw kids catch and release. If I had to say anything, personally, the middle building should be used as a check in, snacks, souvenirs, or misc small items? It would be a great addition I think. Also, for tenters big rocks need a pad underneath your tent, other than that, definitely will be back! Thank you Rose Creek Campgrounds for a lovely time and memory. Oh, ps it was great seeing the bonfire and hearing the music Saturday night and Jerry was the best host ever! Anytime you need anything he is always there!
