General Impression:

Medium sized campground with long pull-thru campsites but limited amenities.

Cost $25 for PA members, $50 per night for non-members

Value: 4

Campground: Well-planned campground with campsites starting at 62 feet in length but a bit narrow.

Campsite # 4

Campsite Type: cement pad pull-thru, with grass between every site.

Campsite Level: yes, very level

Hookups: Full with 50 & 30 #thifty, sidewinder was required because the cap height stuck out of the ground.

Picnic table at our site: yes

Fire Ring/Grill: no

Wifi: yes, but realistically only usable for email check

Propane fill: no

Dump station: no

Noise Level: Interstate noise could noticeably heard inside the RV

Amenities:

Bathrooms and Showers: yes, multiple private full bathrooms.

Dumpster easily located: yes

Laundry: 4 washers and 4 dryers. $2.00 wash and $1.75 dry. They use an app for payment so you have to use a smartphone.

Pool: yes, but not heated

Playground: yes

Other facilities: exercise room, library, and recreation room listed; however, they seemed more like someone’s residence rather than a community facility.

Dog friendly:

Location and size of area: Large grassy areas surrounding campground to walk the dogs leashed and medium sized off-leash area fenced towards the back of the campground. No pickup bags or stations located anywhere in the park.

Camp store:

Small camp store with convenience type basic needs. Items seem a bit dated and could do with a refresh. Small RV section for random items in an emergency. Ice for sale and Blue Bell ice cream with many flavors. Small souvenir section.

Camp staff interactions: we only interacted with one person, but we had multiple interactions. Every time we spoke with her, she was patient and friendly. She made our stay more pleasant.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Worst customer service, they will run your card until they pull the last penny out of your account instead of calling you to let you know your card was declined. They have a playground but complain when your kid is there. If you have a kid you are limited to the back 40 only because "kids are too loud" (per Shirley, the mom). Shirley is very vocal about her opinion of kids, its disgusting and disrespectful. It floods and they have rats(we caught 3 around new years). Employees live in the clubhouse area so you are never aloud in. Supposedly there is a small gym in there but I was never able to find out. Got yelled at Sunday because we had to relevel our camper and our truck was taking up the road way. Nobody was even in the road except the old lady that works there complaining(It took about 15 mins..) I was hung up on 3 times trying to get my money back until I got paid tomorrow. She admitted to literally running my card over and over again until it went through with $179.28. Rent is $570 plus electric, instead of calling me. Wonder if this is illegal and I am still trying to find any paperwork that shows I agreed to this type of payment arrangement. They also refuse to let you speak to the manager about these issues but have no problem threatening you with turning you into to the manager. Please tell her I would love to speak to someone besides you!!

Nice campground, really clean, easy access from the I-10. Little bit noisy since its near the highway but for a night it was perfect. Bathroom super clean. Paid 45.00.

It was clean and easy in easy out. It was too cold to use the pool, but it looked nice. The office and store were very well appointed. The only disadvantage to this place, was the fact the sites are very, very narrow. They were at least level, which made putting our slides out, Much easier. It also appeared, that There were many full timers living here. Great place for an overnight Stay close to Beaumont right off of interstate 10.
