Peaceful. The fish were biting but we didn't take any home. Surprisingly no one was out there. We had the whole place to ourselves.
Beautiful well maintained park. Go for a picnic. Plenty of mosquitoes so bring your repellent.
Perfect place to stop, relax, kayaking and camp for three days free with a permit
That kayak and boat launch looks pretty legit. Playground looks new, make sure to check out the dedication plaque. Some really neat stuff to do here. I guess what the sign says about security is true. There is a single wide manufactured home with the cute little fence and everything. I guess it's for like a park ranger or something.
