Very nice fall get away. I was pleasantly surprised with the CCC dated cabin. Newly renovated. Very clean and comfortable. Nice pedestal grill and fire pit. Park camp sites would be a challenge for a larger camper. Really enjoyed my stay. Wish I could have stayed longer.

My family and I went to the beach and swimming area which was beautiful and a really fun time. We also rented one of the boats that you control by pedaling it and it was also a lot of fun. We also brought lunch and were glad they had several picnic tables for us to use. They also had a playground that the younger children that were with us enjoyed playing on. If you're looking for something cheap and fun to do with the kids on a hot summer day, I definitely recommend this park.

They also have the most beautiful little cabins you can rent. Perfect for the whole family or a weekend getaway with the girls or your significant other.

They have gravel and sand tent pads. The bathrooms were always clean. I loved that there are separate, personal shower rooms ( not just stalls with a curtain). The hiking trails were well maintained. I do wish the maps provided had more detail. Spoke with other campers that agreed it was not the easiest to figure out how to get to trails from the campground.

Very beautiful scenery in the autumn. Most of the day use areas around the water are closed but great for walking or a picnic ๐Ÿงบ. The campground is dated and the campground road is pretty bad and sites are small and very close to each other. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Wish the state would do some upgrades for the campers and this could truly be a gem of a park. Overall a nice day trip. Equestrian campsite area is very nice and the nearby fairystone hunt area is a unique experience.

Spent three days camping and enjoyed the experience. The campsites were a little closer than I prefer, but it wasn't an issue this trip as it's outside peak season. The bathhouse was clean and stocked. The park was just lovely. I was able to get a couple of runs in, a nice hike, and a very relaxing paddle on the lake. I just love the mountain setting. I am looking forward to more trips in the future.
