Three days camping at the family campground. Enjoyed our stay immensely. The cicadas, crickets, and frogs nightly serenaded us. The facilities were clean and stocked. Exploring the trails was fun, but spending a day padding on the Millpond capped the entire trip. The rangers and staff were fantastic, and the welcome center had very good exhibits

Camped three nights. Park is another Virginia gem. I have a pretty high bar for parks and this one does not disappoint. The lake is beautiful, the grounds are well kept, and the camp store was very well stocked. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the trails but will need to schedule more time.

I enjoyed the hike out to the park. The staff I met were very knowledgeable and helpful. I spent the day exploring and planning for a camping trip later in the year. The welcome center was an oasis. I enjoyed sitting on the porch in a rocking chair. I can't wait to get back.

Spent three days camping and enjoyed the experience. The campsites were a little closer than I prefer, but it wasn't an issue this trip as it's outside peak season. The bathhouse was clean and stocked. The park was just lovely. I was able to get a couple of runs in, a nice hike, and a very relaxing paddle on the lake. I just love the mountain setting. I am looking forward to more trips in the future.
