Very beautiful scenery in the autumn. Most of the day use areas around the water are closed but great for walking or a picnic 🧺. The campground is dated and the campground road is pretty bad and sites are small and very close to each other. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Wish the state would do some upgrades for the campers and this could truly be a gem of a park. Overall a nice day trip. Equestrian campsite area is very nice and the nearby fairystone hunt area is a unique experience.
