I cannot say enough good things about this place! I absolutely loved my stay there. My family & I camped in tents at one of the "C" lettered sites. Plenty of room for 2 tents, a fire, and a whole table/cooking area setup, with lots of room to spare. There is plenty of parking nearby too so you can get your car out of sight and off to the side. We brought a boat and there is tons of parking for trucks/boats, and we never had to wait at the dock when putting it in or taking it out. They have several boat ramps, so no lines at all. There were 2 different bathroom / shower houses within a very short walking distance of our camping sight, and they were never busy. I just walked right up each night and was able to shower right away. And they were clean & nice! And best of all... we left my toddler's prescription glasses at our camp sight by accident. I called up the main office to tell them, and they went right away and found them and mailed them to us since we live 3 hours away. A+ service, that was so nice of them, they did not have to do that!! Love this place, will definitely be back!

I would not recommend this campground. It is very bare bones and not kept up. There are no trash cans anywhere in the camping area, just dumpsters at the entrance. Our first night I had to deal with drunk neighbors, peeing outside their camper, parking on our campsite, and passing out under the picnic table. I saw no sign of camp security or anyone keeping an eye on what goes on. When walking our dogs we found diapers, dead fish, and trash almost everyday.

There is not much to the store, no concession stand. Two bathhouses but one only has cold water. The other gives a warm shower but you must constantly push a button for the water to continue to flow. Not much was done to maintain the cleanliness of the bathhouses. If you took your shower in the evening, it was obvious that not enough attention had been devoted to cleaning up or stocking up. The playground for kids was pretty run down, broken equipment and in desperate need of painting. There is no type of landscaping, plantings, basically no one is going above or beyond to make the place look nice.

My family and I have been coming here for years. The kids when they were younger loved the play ground and basketball courts. We've always had a good time. We've always used our camper for the bathroom facilities, so can't really give thought on the bath houses. The reason for giving 4 stars on service is sometimes when trying to call them they don't pick up the phone. Boat ramps are ok just a little run down but never have had any problems launching or loading my boat. The lighting or lack there of at the multiple launch area needs some improvement. The camp sights are ok as long as you don't mind a little work on setting up. Some you really need alot of leveling blocks and boards. Water and electric hook ups are in good locations for the most part. There is a lack of fire rings for sure, but you can usually find a safe spot for a fire in the rocks. The camp store is nice. The staff is always friendly and helpful when you go in. There is usually a good selection of camping and some fishing gear if you need something. The place stays fairly quiet all the times We've been there. It is nice how they shut the gates at night so people off the street can't get in unless they walk. So if you're crafty and don't mind some leveling engineering of your camper on some of the sites. It's a nice place. It is the only camp ground on the lake with full hook up in the area for me that makes it the only place I'll stay. The H and some of the A sections is the best place that we've found to stay with full hook up.

We stayed at this campground back in April 2023. Initially they booked us at a site right on the ledge of a hill. There was no way we were going to attempt to park in that spot. I called them and they moved us to another spot (H10). The sites are close together and the campground is all up and down hills. I mention that because we were trying to ride bikes around (including my 4 yr. old) and it was pretty sketchy going down hill. I would recommend no bikes for kids here. There was no walk into the water access at the beach. If you had a boat or kayaks, it would be fun to get out on the water. Otherwise, the best sites were the group camping spots. They had beautiful views and so much space.
