We recently had an opportunity to spend some time in the park, however on the day after arrival i ended up in hospital, so we only ended up staying a few days in the park recovering and then had to high tail it back to canada. When I was released from hospital I came back to the camper to find a Get Well card at my door, completely full with signatures inside! From people we never even met! I can't tell you how touched I was by such a kind gesture! Thank you all so much for your concern! I am home and feeling better, and hope we can visit your park again next winter ;)))
We didn't get a chance to enjoy any of the amenities in the park, but friends gave us a tour and it looks like there is lots to keep you busy!
My husband and I spent 15 years living here - in fact we were married in the park. It was such a friendly atmosphere and there were so many activities - you could do absolutely nothing or keep yourself active and young at heart. We still miss this wonderful park. I'm not sure why I hit for stars I guess because there was no four and a half. I never give anything five stars because no matter how great things are nothing is ever perfect.❤️
We have good friends who live in this park. It is a clean and freindly park with lots of amenities in public club house space. Craft and game rooms, meeting hall for fundraiser meals, jams and concerts are just some of the special things about this senior 55+ community. They also have an extensive recycling program that keeps a lot of reusable stuff out of the landfill.
We were placed in the worst spot in the entire park. People were friendly the 1st day, then nothing after that. We had a really windy day. We loaded up our trash to take to the dumpster. We left our kitchen trash can outside. When we got back, it was gone. We were gone less than 5 minutes. I reported it to the woman in the office, and she basically said, "Oh, well, it happens sometimes." It wasn't one of those cheap $20 Walmart bins. It had a step on pedal to lift the lid. I won't stay there again because they weren't interested in helping us at all.
