Super NICE place! So glad we randomly picked this place while searching for somewhere near Neely Henry. Friendly people staying and living there. All the staff we met were so helpful and nice. Everything was always clean and they even pick up your trash from your campsite! We’ve been gone a day and I’m already wanting to go back. It was nice having a place I felt safe for my kids to play. Thanks for the great experience
Connie in the office was fantastic and the area was convenient to most things. However the campground manager was very unfriendly and made us feel unwwlcomed . Like we were bothering him. We had reserved a long term spot and it was given away leaving us to find another spot last minute.
Very clean, and very friendly people! Go check out their RVs as well! Talk to Mr. Yokum, absolutely nice guy! The facilities are clean, the pool is clean and they also have a child’s pool. The playground is a cute place. There is a boat that just floats around the lake, it was always fun to see where it floated to when we got back each day. 🤣
Nice campground. There is supposed to be someone over the campground but you never see them. We have had a nice time until the last weekend staying here and for two nights the campers behind us were extremely loud, lots of banging, golf carts running up and down the road. The kids on the golf cart were no where near 16 years old and they were on the main road going to the campground . This went on until 1:00 to 1:30 a.m. We have seen people speeding in the campground and a child riding (standing) on the tailgate of a truck. There is no supervision in the campground as far as rules or quiet time goes. The laundry facility does not have a change machine and when you go to Campers Unlimited who owns the campground they tell you they don’t have change even though last week a man that worked there brought out a bag full of quarters. Couldn’t get one washing machine to work even paying with credit card. The people living at the campgrounds never speak and no one seems friendly. The only thing good about the campground is the pool it is nice and kept clean. The people that cut the grass do a terrible job especially with the weed eating. We won’t be back ever and will never buy another camper from them.
We had I think one of the best spots! Didn't feel like any one worked there. Game room was well kept but the air hockey paddles was broken. We went to play and then we felt like we were being supervised because there was a lady brought her kids, they stayed in the office but she sat out where we were trying to play pool. I guess being her kids were in the office she worked there. She should have been emptying all the full trash cans that had been there all week. I Used the bath house once, it was nice. Wish the weather hadn't been cool because I would have got in the pool. We were there for a big race, so this could be a place we would come back again.
