Along side the Tombigbee River, Service Park Campground is roughly 4 miles west of Coffeeville, AL, just off US Hwy 84. A well kept and clean park, with spotless bathrooms, this had become one of our must stops when traveling between NM and FL.
We stayed this past weekend on Site #7. It is a wonderful campground, clean bathrooms/bathhouses, nice play ground for kids in the camp area, the one by the boat ramp is in the ball open sun and equipment very hot to play on. I wish they would add a splash pad or something because there is no swimming area for kids. BUT all in all we loved it and We will definitely be back!
Camped at Service park campground for the first time this this year and fell in love, this campground is right on the the river so you can watch tugboat and barges passing day and night, also the camp hosts are so friendly and helpful, I will go back again soon.
