This year 2023 beware of leaches when your swimming. They are in the shallow and in the deep parts of the water. So far I have found over 100 of them. Just wanted to let you know about that before you swim this year and to be prepared to look for them on your body when you get out of the water.
If you like primitive camping, this place is pretty good. Be mindful of the humidity though.
We love the lake nice and peaseful place very clean .What happens at the lake stay at the lake .
Absolutely love this place. So peaceful and beautiful. wildlife everywhere. I have camped here twice now and just about every morning the eagles wake me up. I love that nature’s alarm clock. Croppie fishing Is amazing but you need a kayak or boat to catch the most. I have caught a few bass but small ones. I give this place five stars. I will be back in the future.
Great place to camp and fish. Very large sites not many with water and electricity. Quiet and very dark when the sunset
