Welcome to Greensport RV Park located at Historic Greensport on Neely Henry Lake in Ashville, AL. Bring your RV or Camper to enjoy fishing, boating, camping, picnicking, and swimming. All sites have full hook-ups, 30/50 amp electric, water, and sewer, picnic tables, fire pits, and high speed Wi-Fi. Other amenities include a bath house, laundry, playground, jumping pillow, walking/biking/hiking trails, and a General Store on site. Come check out what our peaceful retreat has to offer you and your family!
Our Mission Statement:
From our family to yours, Greensport RV Park and Campground exists to provide campers a clean, safe, family oriented camping experience, engaging all backgrounds of people in a community type atmosphere. We hope to utilize the beautiful scenery steeped in rich family history, delivering all guests an unrivaled camping experience with the right amount of activities and amenities, developing continued, loyal customers.
We are located right on the Waters Edge of Neely Henry Lake and just a short drive down HWY 411 from Gadsden, Rainbow City, Attalla, and surrounding cities! Please do not put 130 Greensport Road into your GPS when trying to find our location. The address is just 130 Greensport (without the road). If using Google Maps, please only type in Greensport RV Park and NOT our address as they will automaticall place RD behind Greensport.
This is a great campground to put on your list. Great for kids with several activities.
My wife Renae and I just stopped by to visit this place, we love it!! We met Stephanie and Kathy and Jennifer, and gave them a deposit so we can stay here February and March. We so excited to know we will be living here for 2 months this winter. This RV park is very beautiful and VERY peaceful. They have a nice General Store, that is literally that, they have a little bit of everything.
Everyone we met, staff and guests are really pleasant and courteous. If you are looking for short or long term stay, stop by for a visit, someone from the friendly staff will gladly show you around.
We stayed two nights here in our camper and omg this place is so nice. It’s clean, everyone is so respectful/kind, there’s lots of fun things to do (pool, beach, petting zoo, jumping pillow, fun activities they organize). We had such a good time and already plan to come back next summer. Plus they give you fresh baked cookies when you arrive!!
Fantastic campground off the beaten path in Ashville, Alabama, Owners and staff were great to work with. If you're RVing, DO NOT USE google maps to get here, it will take you on a road where you have to make a 135 Degree turn, use an RV GPS or call them to get better instructions. They have a great country store stocked with all kinds of goodies. A dog park, pool and great water front docks, and places to hang out.
What a cool campground. From our site we could look out over the lake. The sites were decent size with full hookups, a picnic table and fire grate. The office staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us a treat at check-in and a treat for our cat as well. They have a laundry room, showers, a big dog park, a small petting zoo and a general store. They also had canoe and kayak to rent and in season a local place to rent boats. We would definitely go back to this RV Park.
