Enjoy nature at its best especially during the fall when mother nature dazzles you with an array of vibrant colors. This primitive camp is located near the Cheaha Wilderness Area and offers camping and hiking. Turnipseed Camp has sanitary facilities.
Nice little place to camp. Great for a one to two night stay at the most for me.
Very nice, clean, primitive Forest Service campground $5 per nite. Vault toilet. No water or hookup. Picnic table and fire ring on large site. Convenient access to lots of trails from the campground.
It was closed when I drove by, reopening in March. Here’s a few photos of the turn off point from the highway
Nice, spacious campsites. First come basis, $5 per night. Has a proper outhouse. Plenty of parking.
